Say It With Cross Stitch

I haven’t done much quilting lately. It keeps getting pushed to the side and replaced with other things. One of those things is a cross stitch pattern I decided I needed to have. in my life The best part was I could make it for myself.

I’ve made no secret of my desire for an adult coloring book with swear words, so it should come as no surprise that I am absolutely giddy for sweary cross stitch patterns. I mean, there’s writing it down, and then there’s spending a good chunk of your time meticulously working it into fabric with a needle and thread.

I made this one for my sister, the Christmas before last. I wasn’t there when she opened it, but I later heard it got quite the reaction. I did iron and frame it first.

I think it may have ended up in her bedroom. Possible her master bath. I’m not sure.

Here’s what I’ve been working on lately. When it was close to being finished my husband saw it and we had the following conversation.

H: Does that say ‘For Sake?”
M: Yeah.
H: ‘For Fox’s Sake?”
M: Yep. That’s it.
H:
M:
H: Ah.

I don’t think I’ll be hanging this one in the living room. My kitchen maybe? All I know is it makes me smile, so I’ll probably put it somewhere I can see it often.
