Getting ready for another round of querying. Here are some numbers to give you an idea of how the first round went. According to my handy-dandy spreadsheet, I’ve queried 32 agents and have received 8 rejections. I should mention I’ve kept to email for querying purposes and don’t plan to print anything out and send it by post.
I know dragons aren’t for everyone.
Anyway, I’ve looked back over some of my earlier queries. I’m happy to report I’ve tweaked my query letter and continue to try and make it as sharp as possible while still attempting to generate interest in the story. Wish me luck.
